Nothing in life can prepare us for the death of a loved one. Whether death results from a sudden accident or a sustained illness, it always catches us off-guard.

Sleep in peace Donna. I am content that you have no more sorrows or pain. Although you are gone too soon, yet you will be always be remembered. I will remember your smiles, singing and love for God.
The have little saying that goes expect the unexpected but is wasn’t mine.
But has the word of God came to me so I shared with you from St. John 11:25-26
Jesus said unto her I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Your thoughts and memory will always be in my heart. Sleep on until then.
I deeply saddened by the passing of my dear BFF. We met as strangers and became good friends. Donna my love, sleep and take your rest. I know we’ll meet again.
It hurt to see you go. Losing you was such a bitter pill to swallow. There are no words to express or ease the sorrow that accompanied your passing. I will therefore treasure the memories of your cheerful face, contagious smile and your constant words of encouragement. You were a sweetheart and your memories will live on in my heart.

Word can not adequately depict the level of grief and sorrow that I feel with the loss of my friend Donna, so I join in with the rest of the love ones to say, “GIRL MI MISS YOU”. Your smiles, your love, your encourage words and authenticity were never far from your presence. Rest in peace my beloved and until then………..
Father we ask for your comfort at this time. We are missing Donna, her smile, her grace, her beauty, her selfishness, her helpfulness, her charm and the list goes on but we are thankful she is at rest.
The beautiful pair of eyes that held so much warmth for whomever they beheld; the genuine spirit that embraced any and everyone; the consummate professional who placed a high premium on her work – all of that and more was Donna!
I am a much better human being for having crossed paths with this truly rare and wonderful soul and I’m not sure when and how I will come to terms with this loss. I am however comforted by the fact that Donna was a godly woman and I have every confidence that God has called you home for that ultimate gift – eternal life.

You’ve fought a good fight my friend, we’ve been friends from the 80’s, but God’s will prevailed,he saw your pain my friend,and decided to rid you of it.You were so positive every time we spoke, as you always spoke good of the doctor you seeing as you spoke of the good results of others that were seeing her, you fought to the end and I’m so proud of you, I’m grieving right now but God knows best, we’re all grieving but it’s just a reminder to us that we’re only here for a season and will have to return to our maker to give an account for the life he loaned to us. Donna you were a dear friend and coworker, sister too. We chatted about every and anything, we laughed, cried and prayed together at times. When you told me your situation I was concerned and hoped and prayed for the best. When I received the news of your passing it was as if someone stabbed me in the heart but I am not in mourning because I know you did what you had to do. You ran your race and finished well. I know from the bottom of my heart that you served all whose paths you came across you served them with pride, diligence and excellence. So my dear friend, sister and colleague you’ve gone too soon but rest in eternal peace till we meet again. Love and miss you my ‘paring p’. I met Donna in 2009 when I joined the Ministry, her warm smile, always willing to help, positiveness, encouraging words those “full eyes” caught my attention and her love for children captured my heart. This she expressed to my son all these years.
The Ministry separated, but our communication never did. But when I learnt of your situation, it pained my heart , and was hoping for the best for you especially for your little princess.
Our communication became more frequent than ever during this time. But there were times you could not type but would voice note sighhhhh. I am forever grateful when your sister Karen allowed you to voicenote me on Jan 7, 2022. Though your voice was low, you put out the best. .. who knew that would have been our last conversation . Sighhhh.
I was not ready for this Donna, but God knew best, took you from your suffering and left us with a void but great memories that will be forever cherished.
My deepest condolences to your family especially your husband Devon and princess Anna.

Wow I don’t know where to start. Donna i met you tru my then husband as you both were coworkers you became a friend, a big sister, a counselor, a motivator to me. I am still in shock can’t believe I won’t hear your contagious laugh anymore or see that smile or hear you saying kiss up Bum bum/pumpkin (my baby girl) for you as that’s what you call her. Your counselling will be missed as you never judged me. But i know you are out of your pain as you always tell me how much pain you are in, and you are in a better place as you have gone ahead to be with your saviour.
